Finally the situation with my computer has been fixed :) I'm currently typing on its keyboard and everything is back where it belonged. It's true what they say, you never realize just how much stuff you have until you have to restore everything! It took me almost three hours to put all my files back in....

I'm missing the last 20 days and I was so stupid not to save my emails and my updated favourites on the external HD so now I have them as they were in June, meaning as they were in my old laptop :( I'm mourning the loss of the emails (most of them were important ones from my Professor) more than the favourites' one since luckily all the important links are still there. Oh well what's done's done.

On a totally unrelated note, I had another inspiration for a story. Yeah, I know I'm getting ahead of myself pretending to be a writer after just one story, but this idea has been floating in my head for a while now. It's obviously a B/J story but there's a problem. It would be some kind of a gapfiller and this in my head means I *have* to have the characterization of everyone involved just right or I won't even start trying. This scares me a little since I'm not too confident about my "voices"... and in fact I didn't even open a word doc yet.

I don't know. Aside from rewatching the episode (not that I need to since it's one of the epis I know better) what can I do to improve my characterization and my "voices"? What do you all do, oh amazing writers on my f-list, about it?

My copy of Lisa's InStyle magazine arrived in the mail today, perfect early birthday present, thank you so much whathobertie. *massive hugs* ♥

I must admit that I've opened the package but have not yet opened the actual magazine, it's sitting on my bed and I just keep glancing at it lol. This will be my first experience of actually holding a magazine with Lisa in it in my own two hands, it will almost be like a religious experience, I feel it should be savoured.

Between this and knowing I have my birthday cash to go out and spend later, it is a good day so far. :D

I recently saw on amazon.com that in October a "special edition" version of Twilight will be released. Does anyone have details on it? What makes it "special"?

Is there seriously no Dean/Jo fanfic out there? Like, AT ALL?!

I have discovered it all: craploads of Wincest, Sam as a girl, Dean as a girl, Dean/Ellen, Sam turns into Sophia Bush or something, but NO DEAN/JO!

And while I'm on the subject of Jo, what the fuck is wrong with Supernatural fangirls? SRSLY? When I was watching the series straight through on DVD last month, I was like, "Wow, Dean/Jo would be hot! There must be so many fans of this ship! I can't wait to READ ALL THE DEAN/JO FIC OUT THERE!". Then I discover that the actress is actually gone from the show because crazy ass fangirls hated her because "OMG DEAN SOOO CAN'T HAVE A LOVE INTEREST. HE IS WAY TOO HAWT AND HE'S ALL MIIIINE."

Shoot me now.

(Forgive me for lumping all Supernatural fangirls into this category. I know not everyone is like that, and for those of you who truly don't like Jo, it may not be for this reason, but for the sake of this rant, just ignore the glaringly obvious stereotype).

I don't really understand what it is about this fandom that makes the two leads so unshippable (aside from with each other, apparently). These are IMAGINARY characters. Why are you getting jealous of an IMAGINARY character possibly getting together with another IMAGINARY character?! It baffles me. I personally thought Dean/Jo had great chemistry and she's so far been the only female character I thought worked well romantically with Dean. Yet because the writers actually hint at a possible romance, the fangirls go nuts and boycott her off the show. Because you think you have a chance with him?!

What was so different about Spike in BtVS? He was a hot lead who had a rabid fanbase, yet he was shipped with every female on the show! The Spike Buffy/Dru/Anya/Joyce/Dawn/Willow/Tara fic was ENDLESS. Why can't Dean have a love interest? Particularly a well-acted attractive blonde who understood his life of hunting?

I JUST DON'T GET IT.

(Forgive me also for my excessive use of caps. I am just that bothered by this).

Anyone want to lend their two cents?

Or possibly lead me to some Dean/Jo fic? There has to be some out there! I can't be the only fan of this pairing. RIGHT??

I have created a new layout for my website entitled "The End". It is based on The Crossroad Demon and The Black Dog and is called "The End" because once you have sold your soul to the demon, you're finished. It's rather morbid, but I find it proper because it is before the Supernatural finale and I'll be releasing a happier one once we see Dean again. Let me know what you think!
